- Easy to apply thanks also to the holes along the edges.
- Thanks to the seamless outer layers of non-woven fabric, joints between different pieces of tape may be formed directly with the chosen waterproofing product.
- May be coated with the chosen waterproofing product or with the adhesive used to bond floor or wall coverings.

It is the customers responsibility to provide an accurate delivery address. If the courier is unable to deliver your order due to issues with access to the delivery address, your goods will be returned to the local delivery depot for delivery on the next working day. Please note a redelivery charge of up to £89 plus VAT per pallet may be applied. If your order is undelivered and returned to us a restocking fee may also be applied.
Please inform us of any delivery restrictions (eg weight restrictions, narrow roads). Failure to do so may incur a redelivery charge if the courier cannot access the delivery address due to undeclared or incorrect delivery restrictions. A redelivery charge of up to £89 plus VAT per pallet may be applied.
If your order is over 150kg it may be delivered on a pallet. The courier will notify you of a two hour delivery window. In the event that no one is available at the address to receive the delivery a charge of up to £89 plus VAT per pallet may be applied for redelivery.

What is Mapeband Easy and what is it used for?
Mapeband Easy is a rubber tape sandwiched between two layers of non-woven polypropylene fabric, designed to create elastic, waterproof joints in waterproofing systems. It is used for waterproofing corners between adjacent walls and floors, and for elastic control joints on terraces, balconies, and similar areas.
What are the key advantages of Mapeband Easy?
- Highly elastic, with elongation at failure greater than 300%
- Easy to apply, aided by perforated edges that improve wetting with the waterproofing product
- Seamless non-woven outer layers allow overlaps to be bonded directly with the chosen waterproofing product
- Can be coated with the waterproofing product or with tile/stone/mosaic adhesive
Which waterproofing products is Mapeband Easy compatible with?
It can be used with products from the Mapelastic range, Monolastic, Mapegum WPS, products from the Aquaflex Roof range, and with the Mapeguard UM35 membrane.
How do I apply Mapeband Easy?
- Apply a coat of the chosen waterproofing product along corners, edges, and sides of expansion/control joints.
- Place the tape without folds or air bubbles, ensuring the waterproofing product comes through the edge holes.
- Overlap joints between tape pieces by at least 5 cm and bond with the waterproofing product.
- When used over control joints, position the tape centered over the joint. If tiling over, leave the central dotted zone uncoated so the joint can be located and mirrored in the tile covering.
- Ensure any reinforcement mesh in the waterproofing is interrupted at the tape edges so the tape can move with the joint.
