It is the customers responsibility to provide an accurate delivery address. If the courier is unable to deliver your order due to issues with access to the delivery address, your goods will be returned to the local delivery depot for delivery on the next working day. Please note a redelivery charge of up to £89 plus VAT per pallet may be applied. If your order is undelivered and returned to us a restocking fee may also be applied.

Failure to do so may incur a redelivery charge if the courier cannot access the delivery address due to undeclared or incorrect delivery restrictions. A redelivery charge of up to £89 plus VAT per pallet may be applied.
If your order is over 150kg it may be delivered on a pallet. The courier will notify you of a two hour delivery window. In the event that no one is available at the address to receive the delivery a charge of up to £89 plus VAT per pallet may be applied for redelivery.

Where can Mapei Super Flexible S1 Tile Adhesive be used?
This versatile adhesive is suitable for interior and exterior wall and floor areas, including demanding environments like swimming pools, showers, kitchens, bathrooms, conservatories, balconies, and terraces, as well as commercial premises and public buildings.
It can be used with a wide range of tiles, including porous-bodied wall tiles, vitrified floor tiles, porcelain tiles, natural stone (not sensitive to discolouration/moisture), quarry tiles, brick slips, and even over gypsum plaster, plasterboard, and underfloor heating systems.
What types of surfaces is Mapei Super Flexible S1 Tile Adhesive not suitable for?
Mapei Super Flexible S1 Tile Adhesive is not recommended for the installation of synthetic stone or natural stone prone to staining. It should also not be used on floorboards or chipboard. Additionally, it is not suitable for fixing to roofing felt, roofing-grade asphalt, or bituminous systems.
How should I prepare my substrate for Mapei Super Flexible S1 Tile Adhesive?
For floors, concrete substrates must be at least 6 weeks old and cement-sand screeds at least 3 weeks old. Calcium sulphate screeds require abrading, priming with Mapei Plaster Primer, and must be dry to 0.5% w/w moisture.
All substrates must be firm, sound, dry, free from cracks, and free of contamination. For walls, plaster should be at least 4 weeks dry (1 week for skim coats over plasterboard) and cement-sand renders at least 2 weeks dry. Shiny plaster may need light sanding and priming.
How long does Mapei Super Flexible S1 Tile Adhesive take to dry and when can I grout?
After mixing, the adhesive has a long pot life of up to 8 hours, an open time of up to 30 minutes, and a tile adjustment time of up to 60 minutes. Once applied, tiles can generally be grouted after 24 hours. This time may be extended in cold conditions or with less porous substrates.
For optimal results use Mapei Ultracolor Plus Grout, Mapei Kerapoxy Easy Design Grout and seal with Mapesil AC Mould Resistant HM Silicone.
