Application Instructions Joint Preparation
The joint surfaces must be clean and free from all contamination. Surfaces should be degreased using the appropriate surface cleaner (contact Adshead Ratcliffe Technical Service Department for further information)Mixing
The ratio of base to curing agent controls the performance properties of Arbokol 1025 SP and tins are filled off to an exact mixing ratio. It is vital therefore that the whole contents of the curing agent tin are added to the base tin. The 2 components must be thoroughly mixed to ensure complete homogeneity (Spiral “pig tail” mixing equipment is recommended).Application
The usual application method once mixed is to fill the sealant into empty cartridge dispensers using a heavy duty follower plate. The cartridge is placed over the hole in the centre of the plate and filled by applying steady downward pressure. Insert the plunger into the cartridge and the mixed sealant is then ready for application using an Arbo Caulking Gun. The sealant should be extruded firmly into the joint by maintaining an even pressure on the trigger of the gun.Joint Backing
Where applicable, appropriate joint filler, e.g. closed cell polyethylene foam should be used to provide the correct joint depth. All joint preparation and sealant application should be carried out in accordance with BS8000 Part 16 (British standard for the sealing of joints in buildings) For use in a variety of internal stress relief joint systems where a tough, non-pick seal is requiredRecommended Uses

It is the customers responsibility to provide an accurate delivery address. If the courier is unable to deliver your order due to issues with access to the delivery address, your goods will be returned to the local delivery depot for delivery on the next working day. Please note a redelivery charge of up to £89 plus VAT per pallet may be applied. If your order is undelivered and returned to us a restocking fee may also be applied.
Please inform us of any delivery restrictions (eg weight restrictions, narrow roads). Failure to do so may incur a redelivery charge if the courier cannot access the delivery address due to undeclared or incorrect delivery restrictions. A redelivery charge of up to £89 plus VAT per pallet may be applied.
If your order is over 150kg it may be delivered on a pallet. The courier will notify you of a two hour delivery window. In the event that no one is available at the address to receive the delivery a charge of up to £89 plus VAT per pallet may be applied for redelivery.
