It is the customers responsibility to provide an accurate delivery address. If the courier is unable to deliver your order due to issues with access to the delivery address, your goods will be returned to the local delivery depot for delivery on the next working day. Please note a redelivery charge of up to £89 plus VAT per pallet may be applied. If your order is undelivered and returned to us a restocking fee may also be applied.

Failure to do so may incur a redelivery charge if the courier cannot access the delivery address due to undeclared or incorrect delivery restrictions. If your order is over 150kg it may be delivered on a pallet. The courier will notify you of a two hour delivery window. In the event that no one is available at the address to receive the delivery a charge of up to £89 plus VAT per pallet may be applied for redelivery.

What is Black Jack 906?
Black Jack 906 is a stable bitumen/water emulsion of medium brushing consistency for the general waterproofing of roofs.
What can I use Black Jack 906 for?
Black Jack 906 can be used:
- General waterproofing of roofs – for use on concrete, fibre/cement, roofing felt, mastic asphalt, corrugated iron, slates, tiles, lead, copper and zinc.
- Metal protection – provides protection against corrosion of pipes, structural steelwork and other metallic equipment.
- Insulation – provides a vapour barrier for cold storage rooms.
How do I prepare the surface before applying Black Jack 906?
Before applying, ensure surfaces are clean, sound and free from dust or any contaminants which may affect adhesion. Remove green growth with Sika Mouldbuster. No roof coating can be expected to repair an existing roof which is not structurally sound and stable. Make good any holes or loose felt/slates/tiles etc. Fill holes/imperfections with Black Jack 903 Bitumen Trowel Mastic. Stick down loose felt etc with Black Jack 904 Roof Felt Adhesive. Prime porous surfaces with Black Jack 902 Bitumen and Flashing Primer and allow to dry before use.
How much Black Jack 906 do I need?
Per litre of Black Jack 906 will cover approximately 1.25m² per coat depending on porosity of substrate. Two coats will give a dried film of approximately 0.9 mm thickness.
How do I apply Black Jack 906?
Stir well before use. The product is brown when applied but dries black. Apply by brush in a minimum of two coats at a rate of 0.75 L/m2. Apply coats at right angles to each other and allow 24 hours between
coats. This emulsion may be applied to damp, but not wet surfaces.
For maximum durability, the second coat can be reinforced with an open woven glass fibre membrane. In order to prolong the effective life of the dried coating, overcoating with Black Jack 907 Solar Reflective Roof Coating is recommended.
