It is the customers responsibility to provide an accurate delivery address. If the courier is unable to deliver your order due to issues with access to the delivery address, your goods will be returned to the local delivery depot for delivery on the next working day. Please note a redelivery charge of up to £89 plus VAT per pallet may be applied. If your order is undelivered and returned to us a restocking fee may also be applied.

Failure to do so may incur a redelivery charge if the courier cannot access the delivery address due to undeclared or incorrect delivery restrictions. A redelivery charge of up to £89 plus VAT per pallet may be applied.
If your order is over 150kg it may be delivered on a pallet. The courier will notify you of a two hour delivery window. In the event that no one is available at the address to receive the delivery a charge of up to £89 plus VAT per pallet may be applied for redelivery.

What is Bona Classic UX Primer?
Bona Classic UX Primer is a waterborne primer for untreated wood floors producing a medium light wood colouration.
How do I prepare the surface before applying Bona Classic UX Primer?
Ensure the floor is acclimatised to its end-use environment. The surface must be sanded back to bare wood, dry and free from sanding dust, oil, wax and other contamination. Sanding with a 120 grit abrasive using a Bona Quattro Disc, or similar equipment is recommended for the final sanding of the wood.
Allow the product to reach room temperature. Optimal application conditions are between 18-25°C and 30-60% relative air humidity. High temperatures and low humidity shorten, low temperatures and high humidity lengthen drying time. Minimum temperature for use is 13°C.
How do I apply Bona Classic UX Primer?
- Shake the container well before use and insert the supplied filter.
- Apply Bona Classic UX evenly using a Bona Roller or a Swivel Head Applicator at approx. 8-10 m²/lit and avoiding accumulations of product.
- Allow to dry, approx. 1-2 hours.
- When dry, Bona Classic UX may be abraded to reduce grain raise using the Bona Scrad system or a sanding screen (use the finest grit which will achieve the desired result, 120-150 grit). Alternatively, apply one coat of lacquer before abrading to reduce grain raise. A lacquer coat may be applied with no abrasion required providing this is done within 24 hours after the application of Bona Classic UX
- Remove dust and complete the treatment with the topcoat of choice.
