It is the customers responsibility to provide an accurate delivery address. If the courier is unable to deliver your order due to issues with access to the delivery address, your goods will be returned to the local delivery depot for delivery on the next working day. Please note a redelivery charge of up to £89 plus VAT per pallet may be applied. If your order is undelivered and returned to us a restocking fee may also be applied.

Failure to do so may incur a redelivery charge if the courier cannot access the delivery address due to undeclared or incorrect delivery restrictions. If your order is over 150kg it may be delivered on a pallet. The courier will notify you of a two hour delivery window. In the event that no one is available at the address to receive the delivery a charge of up to £89 plus VAT per pallet may be applied for redelivery.

What is Ardex K 40 HB?
Ardex K 40 HB is a rapid Drying, high build, fibre reinforced levelling and smoothing compound.
What can I use Ardex K 40 HB for?
Ardex K 40 HB will level and smooth, in a single application, most new and existing internal subfloors including concrete, cement/sand screeds, anhydrite screeds, stone, terrazzo and ceramic tiles, and suitable timber floors. Ardex K 40 H can also level uneven, damaged or rain damaged in-situ concrete subfloors, and adjusting tolerances or camber problems between floors, slabs, or pre-cast concrete.
Do I need to use a primer for Ardex K 40 HB?
All surfaces must be primed to maximise the working time, maintain the flow life, and prevent air bubbles rising through the levelling compound. See TDS for which primer to use of which substrate.
How do I mix Ardex K 40 HB?
Use between 3½ and 3¾ litres of water per 22kg bag. Add the powder to the required amount of clean water in a clean mixing container whilst stirring thoroughly until a lump free consistency is produced. The use of an ARDEX mixing paddle with a 10mm chuck slow speed (600-1000 rpm) electric drill makes light work of mixing. Use the minimum amount of water content for thick applications or cold conditions.
