Mapei Planipatch Xtra is a fine-grained, ultra-fast drying, thixotropic cementitious compound ideal for local repairing and skim coating of interior floors, walls, steps, and corners. It can be applied even down to a feather-edge where quick hardening, rapid drying, and a particularly smooth finish are required.
Suitable for use in residential, commercial, and industrial environments. Mapei Planipatch Xtra is recommended for:- Skim coating unfinished or rough-textured substrates, even down to a feather-edge.
- Filling stable voids, holes, and cracks in the substrate.
- Fast edging or local repairs prior to final smoothing with appropriate self-levelling compounds.
- Patching and repairing stairs, landings, and column edges.
- Concrete floor slabs, cement-based screeds, and screeds made with Mapecem, Mapecem Pronto, Topcem, or Topcem Pronto.
- Anhydrite and magnesium-based screeds.
- Heated floors.
- Ceramic and terrazzo tiles.
- Stone floors.
- Concrete walls and cement renders.
- Old substrates with strongly bonded residues of waterproof adhesives or smoothing compounds.
Orders placed before 2pm Monday – Friday (excluding Bank Holidays) will be dispatched the same day if ‘Next Day Delivery’ is displayed on the product listing. Orders placed after this time will be dispatched the following working day.

It is the customers responsibility to provide an accurate delivery address. If the courier is unable to deliver your order due to issues with access to the delivery address, your goods will be returned to the local delivery depot for delivery on the next working day. Please note a redelivery charge of up to £89 plus VAT per pallet may be applied. If your order is undelivered and returned to us a restocking fee may also be applied.
Please inform us of any delivery restrictions (eg weight restrictions, narrow roads). Failure to do so may incur a redelivery charge if the courier cannot access the delivery address due to undeclared or incorrect delivery restrictions. A redelivery charge of up to £89 plus VAT per pallet may be applied.
If your order is over 150kg it may be delivered on a pallet. The courier will notify you of a two hour delivery window. In the event that no one is available at the address to receive the delivery a charge of up to £89 plus VAT per pallet may be applied for redelivery.

Can Planipatch Xtra be used with underfloor heating?
Yes, Planipatch Xtra is suitable for use with underfloor heating, as well as concrete floor slabs, cement-based screeds, anhydrite and magnesium-based screeds, ceramic and terrazzo tiles, stone floors, concrete walls, and cement renders.
How long does Planipatch Xtra take to dry before flooring can be installed?
When used for skimming “feather-edge” or patching, the surface is ready for final smoothing or flooring application after 45-60 minutes. For levelling and smoothing large areas (3-10 mm thick), the surface is ready for coverings after 4-6 hours.
Is Planipatch Xtra a low-emission product?
Yes, Planipatch Xtra provides the lowest possible level of emissions, certified as EMICODE EC1 Plus (very low emission) and marked with the “Blauer Engel” according to DE-UZ 113.
